Referring a candidate to LP is as simple as 1-2-3 !

3. If the candidate you referred is hired you will recieve a cash REWARD!



(Contact the on-site Human Resources Manager regarding rewards for hourly positions).

Eligibility
All US and Canada hourly and salaried LP employees are eligible to participate, with the exception of Human Resources Representatives who manage hiring activities, and the hiring manager for the open position.

Referral Reward Amount

US
$500.00 for non-exempt salaried positions
$1000.00 for exempt salaried positions

Canada
$550.00 CAD for non-exempt salaried positions
$1100.00 CAD for exempt salaried positions

Payment of Reward
One-half of the referral reward will be paid within 30 days of hire. The second half will be paid 6 months after hire. (The referral reward is subject to income tax withholdings in the US and in Canada. In the US only, the reward will be considered eligible compensation for retirement plans.)

Guidelines
1. The referral must be for a full-time open US or Canada position.
2. The referral must represent the candidate's first contact with LP. Immediate family, interns, temporary, contract and former employees of LP are not eligible candidates for the referral program.
3. The referral date cannot be earlier than the date the open position is posted on LP’s Employee Job Board.
4. To be eligible for a referral reward, the referring employee and referral candidate must be employed by LP and actively at work at the time the referral reward is processed for payment.
5. The first employee to refer a candidate will be the only referring employee eligible for a referral reward.
6. Only candidates who meet the essential qualifications for the position will be considered.
7. All candidates will be evaluated for employment consistent with LP’s policies and procedures.
8. All information regarding the hiring decision will remain strictly confidential.
9. Any disputes or interpretations of the program will be handled through LP Corporate Recruiting in Nashville.
10. The program is subject to revision or termination at any time and should not be construed as conferring any contractual right of employment.
